So the flight to Aus was balls, not in to the 27 hour flights and mental Korean people who take all ya leg space.

I'm staying with Joe at the moment, and my jet lag is killing me.... but it'll work it's self out. It's been raining the last 2 days but I thik today I might get to skate and actually get some sun. I've been up since 5:30 am though.

This ones for the Gormoler.... Coopers green!!!

Spent the day yesterday at the Monster Children Gallery organising all the work in the 3 shows that I'm having the 1st on the 3rd Nov in Melbourne. Me, Joe and a bunch of others are gonna take 5 days to driver there from Sydney hitting loads of skate parks. Stoked.

Hellbound: New Gothic Art by Francesca Gavin

The first book to focus on new gothic art, Hell Bound highlights a new generation of contemporary artists who are increasingly obsessed with the darker things in life. Illustrators, street artists, sculptors, photographers, filmmakers, installation artists, and painters are all reflecting this renewed interest in gothic imagery. Horror has become a more accepted part of everyday life -- and art, as always, is a reflection of life. Here death metal, the war on terror, and throwaway pop culture meet, feeding the popular fascination for all things gothic. Among the art featured is the iconoclastic work of Ken Kagami, Terence Koh, Ricky Swallow, the photographic collages of Marnie Weber, the drawings of Chloe Piene and Wes Lang, the paintings of Matt Greene and Iris Van Dongen, the outsider punk art of Pure Evil, and the illustrations of French.
176 pages. Softcover, mostly color, some b&w.

(I got send one today, you can order it here)

Sloph Une & the Une's

This is my little friend Sloph, she's stoked about her new bag from the Carhartt Conjuration show. She managed to get one even though she lives in Paris with her mum and dad (Dad Une & Lucy Une). I didn't even manage to get a back or any of the other cool stuff we had mad for the show. (stickers, bags, t-shirts)

Dad Une also sent me this photo from a while ago when he was back from Paris to skate the UG.

"You've had your bacon"

I just finished drawing this.... took bloody ages, but at least it looks rad.

A.F.F.F - London Skating

This weekend the weather was amazing for October in England, so my homies came up to skate. Mike and Munt came up saturday night to eat chicken and watch X-factor so they're feel refreshed and ready to skate.

In one day with an earll start we managed Stockwell, Kennington, 2 street spots at Elephant and Castle and then an into the evening shred at the new Meanwhile 2.

At Kennington bowl myself and Peacock made this bank on the top the bowl, Blakey helped giving us design direction.

Peacock did a massive flip into it, Mike did an Impossible into it as well.....tec nut bar!

Gorm was there with us for to skate Stockwell and Kennington, and took the really good foto's, but had to leave the shred zone early for the need of more chicken.

On the way to Meanwhile 2 we even fitted in a little bit of tourist sight seeing.

From left to right:
Joner's (Cornish), Peacock (Farnham), Munt (Fleet), Mike (Farnborough), Sean (Farnborough) and Blakey (ex-Yatley, now Farnborough)

Me and my good friend "The Gill" at Bushy park, Dublin, last year some time. The Gill's one of my bestest buddies even though he lives bloody miles away.

Ozzy

This is the best drawing of Ozzy I've ever seen, I dunno who drew it.... if anyone knows let me know. But I'm stoked on it, it was on a poster at my friend Lisa's house.

Shirts for Sale

I've just put 4 different shirts for sale on my webstore. They're ones that I just have 1 of each left, I just felt like having a spring clean. Some are actually pretty old / classic and not really available any more. If you don't wanna / can't use the store email me : funeralfrench@yahoo.com and you can send cash / cheque / postal order etc

This is the final one of these shirts left. It was made for the exhibition at Analogue Books in January this year.

Its beautifully printed on high quality Carhartt shirt. Its a large, but wears more like a medium. This was strictly limited to a run of 50 and I have no plans to make more at the moment. - £12

Desolate Delights shirt -

The final one left from the exhibition earlier this year. Its a large and the printings really clean. Comes with a print of 3 prints, 1 by me, 1 by Derek Albeck and a joint work. - £15

I have found 2 of these in my library of product, one in orange and the other in grey. Both really well printed on Gildan Medium shirts. This is the 1st shirt I ever made for a record company and one of my favourite drawings I've made. - £12

I drew this for Sidewalk magazine in around 2006, they made 50 or something crazy and they were only for friends and family of the mag due to gnarley-ness of the image.

I have one in white, printed by Lovenskate Stu, on an AA blank shirt. This one a proper vintage classic of mine. - £12

LOVENSKATE - Skull Hoody

The powers that be at LOVENSKATE have made this amazing hoody from my skull.... not my actual skull... but from a drawing of a skull I drew. Its rad, the colour of the drawing on the back is bone.... due to the discharge printing and it says "Shred the Gnar" on the front. I believe the hoodies come in black or grey. So it ticks all boxes.

They're available from the Lovenskate shop or my webstore. Just £35..... dirt cheap!!!

Support Southsea Skatepark

In 1991 the overlord Geoff Sayer (my dad) took me to my 1st ever skatepark, and then only skatepark near Aldershot at the time, Southsea. Its a legend of British skateboarding history. Spitfire have joined with the local skate shop in Southsea, Bored, and made this shirt and stickers. The shirts are made in 3 colours and on a limited run of 200, all profits go to supporting the park. They available from the Bored website or direct from the shop.

I got me a white one....

Friend & Co.

Friend & Co is opening in Bristol next week, selling all kinds of killer stuff, including some special edition screen prints of my work. If you're about come to the opening.....

Prints for Australia and Grave Miasma

On Friday I drove to Stu 's (Lovenskate) studio to pick up my screen prints he's made for the show's in Australia. They look really good, the printings spot on. I have 30 of each drawing for the 3 exhibitions, they're A2 in size it's 3 one colour prints and 1 two colour.

GRAVE MIASMA......I went to see them last night, after a dead day of rain and rain. Russell and Jason came with and I didn't really eat anything before drinking and ended up puking on the way home. You would have thought by now I could work out when I've had enough. ...ruined my shoes.

This is the book Russell and Ruth have just put out, I was reading it on the bog this morning, it's amazing. Go get it....

Russell ....unhappy about Spurs losing happy about seeing "The One"

The King ...Jason Gormley.... total ruler!!

I got this amazing Grave Miasma shirt last night....
